I wish to see the text displayed during PDF generation in French but it is currently in English.
Is it possible to localize or edit the text which appears while the PDF is being generated?
For example: "The download has started... The file should appear in your Downloads folder when done."

At this time, the default message is in English, but this is not a bad idea. Maybe the text should be localized based on the user's location or browser language. I'll submit this suggestion to the dev team.

Just wanted to let you know that users whose default browser language is different from English will now see the PDF message translated into their language. Thank you for suggesting this.
