You need to locate the LRS configuration settings in your authoring tool and enter the credentials you were provided by the LRS. The example below shows how to set the LRS configuration in Articulate Storyline.

1. Open the publish dialog.
Home tab ▸ Publish.

2. Select "LMS / LRS" on the left.
Choose xAPI (Tin Can API) as the LMS standard.

3. Click "Reporting  and  Tracking."

4. Select the LRS tab.
Tick Report to an external LRS. Storyline exposes an LRS Configuration section with three options:
Supplied at launch, Manual, and Query string 

5. Pick "Manual."

6. Enter your LRS credentials.
LRS Endpoint - full root of the xAPI endpoint (must end in /xapi/ or /statements/)
Key - the LRS access‑key (sometimes called “Username”)
Secret - the accompanying secret (or password)
