My current issue is that as the user continues to answer questions it adds a new name to the leaderboard. What I would like to happen is have the user's score just be updated without add another user, is this possible?

Hello. That shouldn't be happening. Please make sure you followed all steps when setting up the widget, particularly step 1:
Open Storyline/Captivate and create a blank text variable stencilusertoken.
If this still doesn't help, you can upload your file to Dropbox or WeTransfer and post the link below, we'll take a look.

I did follow the instructions. On my instructions it did not say Stencilusertoken for a variable. Here is my storyline file and my instructions:
Apologies, I was under the assumption that this question was regarding the Data Cloud widget. Sorry about it. You are correct, in the leaderboard, each call creates a new entry.

Consider making only one call per user, e.g. at the end of the test. You can show the leaderboard before the test so the learner knows how many points they need to get in order to make it to the top, and then update the leaderboard at the end to add the learner's score.

Unfortunately that will not work for what I am trying to do. I wanted to use this as a way to do a live leaderboard for an in-person class and the purpose was to drive competition with sales people during the class. Would this be possible using your Data Cloud Widget? Or would I just have to create multiple leaderboard widgets to place throughout the module?

With Data Cloud you have the ability to update the records (as long as it's within the same elearning module), but the users can't see/access someone else's data. Only you as the widget owner can see everyone's entries. So if you are able to open the data table on a large screen for everyone to see then this could work.
