CSV has begun exporting as blank (thousands of data rows)
Hi there,

I have been using data cloud for a long time, never really had any trouble with it. I have one instance that holds 15 data sets (10s of thousands of entries) and while I've had no problem downloading a CSV in the past, now when I click "download csv" the result I get is just a 0kb, empty CSV file.

My understanding is that there should be no limitations on this export feature, can I please get some support here?

Thank you!

Hi again @support

I am once again having the same issue. I have tried multiple times, over several hours, and still continue to receive a 0kb CSV file, with no data in it.

Please advise. Thank you!

I have also found that creating a "sharing link" produces a completely blank table.

Brandon, updating you on the status:

- The sharing page now works, just grab the updated link. And thank you for reporting.

- The download not completing most certainly has to do with the amount of data, but we still haven't been able to fix it. We are working on this and will keep you posted.

Thank you!

Brandon, getting back to you on this. The active dataset button now has a download icon that will allow you to download just the selected dataset.

Of course we are still looking into the issue with the larger file, but in the meantime you have an option to download your data this way.

Thank you!

I am still experiencing this issue - getting a 0kb, empty CSV file when I click "download csv" to download all datasets (21 total). Please advise.

I am able to download an individually selected dataset. Which dataset contains the most recent data? Dataset 1 or dataset 21?

Thanks!

Hello. We will check. 21 should be the newest as the records are added to the end of the table.
