Audio Not Working in Avatar Embedded in Storyline (Empty Base64 Response)
I’m using a free Cluelabs account and have created a demo using your Storyline integration template for the Avatar widget. The avatar appears and responds correctly, but the audio playback only works intermittently — roughly 1 out of 100 attempts produces sound.
The browser console shows:
Media resource data:audio/mp3;base64, could not be decoded.
DOMException: The media resource was not suitable.
From the network trace:
POST /display sometimes returns 204 No Content
The data:audio/mp3;base64, media request shows 0 B transferred
I’m trying to use the Avatar with Hungarian text and voice output. Occasionally, it does generate audio correctly, but most of the time it doesn’t.
Could you please confirm:
Whether Hungarian TTS is fully supported in the free tier,
And whether any usage or rate limitations could cause this inconsistent behavior?
Everything else — visuals, triggers, and script loading — seems to function properly.

You get 1000 text characters for TTS with the free plan, you are currently at 999. Your text-to-speech features will not work until the plan resets at the end of the billing cycle. You can monitor your usage on the usage page at https://cluelabs.com/account/usage
