articulate not pulling across variables in google doc.
I'm trying to put in a downloadable certificate in my training course, i have tried a word doc and it's not pulling across the header but pulls across the variable information, then I tried using a google doc, it pulls the header but doesn't input the variables... I only see the %name% not that actual person's name that they enter.

Ok, so Google Docs doesn't see the variable references because text boxes are treated as images in Docs. The script/widget can't read them because Docs doesn't return them as text. A quick solution for you is to remove the text boxes and type the variables simply in the body of the document along with the rest of the text.
The file upload option is being worked on and will function similarly to the Google Doc option once it's out of beta.
